OptiPEx at the 5th European Conference on Connected and Automated Driving

Hosted by the European Commission, in collaboration with the European Partnership on Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) and FAME, the 5th European Conference on Connected and Automated Driving (EUCAD 2025), took place at the Joint Research Centre (JRC) in Ispra, Italy, from the 13th to 15th May 2025.

This event brought together leading industry experts, researchers, and policymakers to exchange insights, foster collaboration, and drive progress toward the deployment of smart, inclusive and sustainable mobility solutions. European thought leaders were able to contribute their insights on the challenges and opportunities surrounding the development and deployment of CCAM solutions. The conference also featured international speakers, offering the proceedings a more global perspective.

The conference consisted of thematic sessions to discuss specific research, innovation and implementation challenges, including interactive panel discussions, as well as an exhibition and demonstrations of CCAM initiatives and solutions are also accessible throughout the duration of the event.

OptiPEx was fortunate enough to participate in the exhibition event, which was officially opened at the end of the first day’s programme with a ribbon cutting ceremony and cocktail event. The exhibition highlighted the incredible work that project’s like OptiPEx are doing in the space of research and innovation to make CCAM systems a reality.
